Through our Social Concerns team, we assist with individuals needs within the
church and community. Our responsibilities
include:
- Attend council meetings and obtain a general "feel" of the congregation and
their needs.
- Communicate with the pastor and members regarding group and individual needs
within the congregation.
- Select committee members to lead an facilitate the following activities:
- Prayer chain
- Lutheran World Relief
- Member concerns
- Meals
- Hospital visits
- Phone calls
- Get well cards
- Marion Food Pantry
- Habitat for Humanity
- Marion Senior Living
- Marion Council for Churches
